A classic comforting wonder!
Sweet pals, last month I asked you for your coziest film go-tos that weren’t Christmas related and you came back with a raft of awesome suggestions — so many movies that I’d not watched in forever and some fabulous titles I’d never even heard of before. From the classiest of high brows to the guiltiest of pleasure lows - I loved them all equally. This is what the Cult Film Club is all about and what has inspired this month’s Watch Party pick.
I wanted something Autumnal-vibes comforting yes, but also feel-good, epic, universally loved… and so if I’ve gauged this right, we’re in all time excellence territory this month.
For anyone who’s new here, whether you’re a film buff or a total film novice, welcome welcome! Come one, come all!
This coming Sunday November 12th, 5pm UK time we will gather to watch a movie together with a live comment feed running throughout followed by a half hour Zoom discussion afterwards to get into it all properly, all of which I am in attendance for. The comment feed also stays open for discussion in perpetuity if you’re not able to make the watch party on the day. And you can get involved as much or as little as you like. Please feel free to just observe from the sidelines.
