This such a lovely idea! <3

I always feel when you listen to a reading or audiobook it gives you a moment to contemplate and you lose yourself in the words.

A few possible book ideas… Small Pleasures by Clare Chambers, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus and Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.

Would be lovely to hear you read out the E.E Cummings poem you mentioned darling!because my blood can sing… :)

Ps. Loved Life After Life, every episode took my breath away, it was incredibly compelling but also utterly heartbreaking.

Fab suggestions!! Thank you Emma. Yeah I really feel like you receive the story in a different way on audio, like you say, you can really get lost in it :) The nostalgic in me also finds it deeply soothing. I've just realised I've never read Sense & Sensibility either so this could be a really good one but I will definitely check out the other ones too. Thank you :)

Loving the serendipity! And I'll have a brew on some poems I can bring myself to sprinkle in there :) Haha!

Yeah maybe... I'm just not a huge fan of poetry being read aloud, haha!! I feel like it belongs on the page but I'll give it a whirl and let's see! <3

Yes there is a mystery and delicacy that I feel is often lost when lifted off the page. I haven't read that but love Rilke and been meaning to buy more to dive deeper. Is there a good translation you'd recommend? xx
